Kathmandu, March 23: Nepal has condemned the terrorist attacks at different places in Brussels, Belgium on Tuesday.

“The Government of Nepal is shocked to learn of the terrorist bomb attacks on different places in Brussels yesterday that resulted in the massive loss of precious lives and injuries to many innocent people,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a press release.

The Government of Nepal, in line with its principled position, unequivocally condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations and holds the view that terrorism must be firmly and resolutely dealt with wherever and whenever it takes place, the press release stated.

While wishing early recovery of those injured, the Government of Nepal extends heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the Government and people of Belgium as well as to the bereaved families.

The government has also expressed the belief that the perpetrators of these heinous acts will be brought to justice at the earliest. RSS
