
Kathmandu, April 8: Results of Nepali Congress Parliamentary Party Working Committee election has been published. The election was held from 9:00 am to 12 noon today.
Election was held in 15 posts including one each from each seven provinces, reservation and proportional representation as per the statute of the Nepali Congress.
Rajiv Bikram Shah was elected towards backward community unanimously on Thursday.
Deepak Khadka (103) has been elected from Province No 1 while Kishor Prasad Sah Teli (109) from Province No 2 and Dhyan Govinda Ranjit (117) from Province No 3.
Similarly, Ram Chandra Pokharel (109) has been elected from Province No 4, Bikram Khanal (111) from Province No 5, Tapta Bahadur Bista (130) from Province Ni 6 and Bharat Bahadur Khadka (110) from Province No 7, said Election Committee Coordinator Ramesh Rijal.
Likewise, Angtawa Sherpa (104) and Tirtha Bahadur Lama (111) have been elected under indigenous men category while Gyan Kumari Chhantyal (109) and Usha Gurung (108) under indigenous women category.
Rajendra Kumar KC (Rajan) (118) has been elected under Khas-Arya man category while Geeta Wagle (121) and Madhu Shahi Thakuri (119) under Khas-Arya women category.
Similarly, Ram Ayodhya Prasad Yadav (123) has been elected under Madhesi man category as well as Rashmi Thakuri (120) and Pramila Devi Das (112) under Madhesi women category.
Bhutani Devi Khawas (107) has been elected under Tharu category while Abdul Razak (139) under Muslim category, Narvan Kami (105) under Dalit men category and Asha BK (124) under Dalit woman category.
E-voting was adopted in the election. RSS
