
Chitwan, March 30: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that Nepal was not India-locked, rather it was landlocked country.
Speaking in a programme organized by the CPN (UML) Chitwan chapter here today, PM Oli clarified that bilateral relations with India is of sovereign status. He said that it was not of the master-servant type relation.
He added that Nepal looked at India and China with the same lens as both are neighbouring countries.
In another note, PM Oli who is also the UML chairman, said that he would not let the party caders to bow down their heads due to the government performance.
He further said that the party had played a leading role in issuing the constitution, and now the future destination was of economic prosperity.
Similarly, Prime Minister Oli added that the government was carrying out the plan to end the power cuts by a year and providing the power as per the demand of the people within two years.
He said that the East-West Highway would be upgraded in six-lane soon.
He claimed that the nation would be independent in food production and the two-lane Kerung-Kathmandu road section would be constructed within two years. RSS
