
Kathmandu, Dec 1 (RSS): Chairperson of Nepal Communist Party (NCP), Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, has expressed commitment that laws to be formulated on transitional justice would not allow general amnesty relating to the conflict era cases. Chairperson Dahal said it during a programme organized at party central office, Dhumbarahi, Kathmandu, today.
At the programme organized by Martyrs Buddhiman Memorial Foundation Dolakha on the 17th memorial day of Pakhrin, Chairperson Dahal reiterated that those involved in heinous crimes as rape and murder during conflict would not be condoned. “I led the insurgency. I must own it up. I’m the one advocating since Comprehensive Peace Accord that those involved in the heinous crimes will not be condoned. I’m reiterating for proper investigation of each crime,” he underscored.
