Motorcyclist Roshan Kumar Basnet, 35, of Bhimeswor municipality-13, Dolakha died in the accident.

The accident took place when a taxi (Ba 2 Ja2041) en route to Suryabinayak from Kathmandu was hit from the back by a motorbike (Ba 44 Pa 5152). Another bike coming from Kathmandu also joined the collusion.

Basnet breathed his last while undergoing treatment at Bhaktapur hospital, informed DSP Krishna Prasain. Three others were also injured in the accident, he added.

Injured Kedar Khanal, 24, of Koshipari-8, Kavre, Manoj Yonjan, 20, of Sailung-1, Dolakha and Dhawa Moktan, 19, of Nigalpani-3, Ramechhap are being treated at Bhaktapur hospital.

Police arrested Ganga Bahadur Thapa, 40, of Muga-5, Dhankuta, who is currently living in Baneswor, Kathmandu.
